The '90s are back. It's a fact. We've seen it all over the runways, as well as in the street-style snippets we've seen from all across the globe. What's the giveaway? The uptake in denim of course. Although denim's been a sartorial staple since the '50s, I'll forever think of it nostalgically in my denim dungaree-clad '90s childhood, as well as the pivotal denim moments that we saw during that decade. Think TLC's oversized dungarees, the Versace Jeans campaigns, Coolio's denim-on-denim-on-denim look and of course, Britney and Justin's double-denim moment (okay so that was 2001, but we'll let it slide). So, it seems fitting that the shoes that were huge in the nineties (and likely even more popular now?) riff off of the denim resurgence - say hi to the Vans Denim Pack. The iconic Vans Old Skool's in black and white leathers are given a denim tongue-twist and classic easy-fit white and blue tees have a cute, embroidered Vans script logo. My standout piece for sure has to be the denim coach's jacket, embroidered with 'Vans Off The Wall' text, 'cos what's more nineties than that? Here's a lil peek at some shots from the lookbook, featuring the badass Vans UK skate team rider, Stefani Nurding. The Vans Denim Pack is now available here.
